⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Happiest 5 years and counting

"Have spent over 200 nights since first buying my Lunar Solo back in 2016. It has seen conditions to -20°C up to +38°C. Above the Arctic Circle into the deserts of Israel. Down from the Dead Sea up to the open Tundra. A great shelter for great adventures." - Andrei

Floating Canopy allows the canopy to be set to different heights.

Floating Floor reduces floor stress and helps to minimize punctures from sharp objects.

Optimized Sleeping Area is oriented to maximize usable space, ventilation, and view. A peak height of 49 inches gives you plenty of headroom.

Center Pole Support significantly improves the ability of the tent to handle wind and snow loads.

Single Hiking Pole Support reduces the amount of gear need.

Internal Gear Area keeps your gear easily accessible.

Oversized Screen Door allows easy entrance and exit while keeping the front pole out of your way.

This tent sucks

Bought this tent for Te Araroa thru hike in New Zealand. It sucks. Do not buy this tent if you are planning to camp where there might be wind or rain. It’s almost impossible to put up in the wind and even if you do manage to put it up there’s a high likelihood it won’t survive the night.

light and stylish!

Good shape!I’ll go to Japan Alps this summer!

Why ?

Why would I pay $260 for a tent that I have to apply water sealant and have to also buy all the poles for it ??
I’ll stick with my $160 Alps 2 person waterproof tent which comes with all the poles. It’s 5lbs but I’ll do a couple more squat reps in the gym. 💪

Lunar Solo (x2)

Never arrived. Very hard to communicate with freight company who opted not to deliver on the day advised, on which I stayed home, and then never delivered to redelivery address. Had to purchase alternatives in the meantime which I highly recommend.... 2x 3FUL Lanshan Pro's. Outstanding. To be fair have not been able to discuss with Six Moons directly yet, as have been guiding in the hills, and concentrating on the delivery companies when in coverage. Will ammend review if product arrives and I have a chance to evaluate. Richard. WilKiwi Outdoor Experiences

Looks good out of the box

I haven’t been able to use it yet, but unpacking it and setting it up for the first time, it looks like everything I was hoping for. I seam sealed it myself, which was very easy. The build quality is very good, and it will be plenty big enough for me, at 6 feet tall I have nice head room and foot room inside and can easily sit up comfortably to changes clothes, etc. It looks like using the optional tie out point to raise the foot box area will be helpful to keep my quilt from rubbing the wall when I’m using my thicker winter sleeping pad. I’m looking forward to using it for the first time this weekend!
