"Have spent over 200 nights since first buying my Lunar Solo back in 2016. It has seen conditions to -20°C up to +38°C. Above the Arctic Circle into the deserts of Israel. Down from the Dead Sea up to the open Tundra. A great shelter for great adventures." - Andrei

Save money with the award-winning Lunar Solo tent – and buy more of the ultralight gear on your list.

With the Lunar Solo tent, sacrifice nothing but extra weight – ultralight, sturdy, weather-tight*, and comfortable. The unique hexagonal design and steep, sloping sides help deflect high winds and shed snow, keeping you safe from the elements. The spacious 26 sq. ft. living space and extra 8.5 sq. ft. vestibule means there’s plenty of room for you AND your gear (or your favorite 4-legged friend).

*To completely repel water, shelters need to have sealer applied to the seams before use.

*Shelters including a seam sealing service may not ship immediately.

Made with 100% Silicone-coated Polyester material to reduce fabric stretch and pack volume.

20D canopy and 40D floor keeps the Lunar Solo light but rugged.

6-in deep bathtub floor helps prevent splash back.

6-in mesh lining above the bathtub floor increases ventilation and keeps you further from the canopy walls, so you stay nice and dry.

26 sq. ft. of living space with a peak height of 49 inches – plenty of room for all kinds of seated tasks. Canopy creates an 8.5sq. ft. vestibule for added protection during storms.

Easily pitched with one adjustable trekking pole to 49 inch peak*.

Lunar Solo Backpacking Tent

Alex K
Streamlined and Solid

As a tall (6'3") guy, it was important to find a lightweight tent that I could sleep comfortably in. The Lunar Solo gives me ample space to get comfy and have plenty of room for gear next to me. This shelter kept me protected in strong winds and single digit temps overnight in the High Sierras. I'm still getting the hang of the trekking pole pitch, but I'm already impressed after one trip in the backcountry. Can't wait to take the Lunar Solo with me on many more adventures.

Best tent I ever bought

After much research, I decided to buy the Lunar Solo. This was the best decision ever made. It is an excellent shelter, quick in setup and take-down, stable, light, and with a small packsize. I camp in the Swiss and Central European mountains while bike packing. The Lunar Solo is a great tent for this!

Loving the Luna Solo

Intuitive and simple to set up, comfy to be in with plenty of airflow, can sit up in it, and light as a feather. I bought the pole, but while backpacking I subbed in a trekking pole which worked nicely. Basically, it's brilliant. Slight concern over how robust the tent floor is, but based on my first camping experience, really happy with it. .

Love my Lunar Solo

First off, I'd like to say that Ben is awesome! He was extremely friendly and helped me solve a problem I had with my online order. When my tent arrived, I set it up. It took me 3 times before I felt like I mastered it but since then it is a breeze to set up. I recently took it on an AT section hike. I love the space inside for all my gear. I downsized from a 2 person REI tent. The weight is great too. Overall it is a very well designed tent from a company that is experienced with the outdoors. I am so happy with my purchase and am looking forward to using it on my next adventure.
