The Silver Shadow Series provides a large reflective surface on top to deflect sunlight and a black underside to absorb wandering rays, allowing you to walk cooler and better protected. Its coating sheds water easily, eliminating the need to wear sweaty rain gear.

My first hiking umbrella. Absolute life saver!! Used it on Rae Lakes Loop. Saved me from sun exposure heading up to Glenn Pass. Didn’t moved or jiggle out of place. Worked well in windy conditions. Held up through snags on trees n bushes. Didn’t block my view as some people stated in reviews. Recommend using a 3rd bungie for best performance. My husband liked it so much I ordered him one as well. Highly recommend!!
I fixed the umbrella to my pack shoulder strap with a couple velcro straps. The umbrella is great for protection from hail, rain and intense sunshine. I backpacked the Uinta Highline Trail in seven days with this umbrella.
So I have used hiking umbrellas for over fifteen years, swing, go-lite and now the Six Moon. This umbrella is light, durable and creates a lovely island of shade as I walk in the sun, of course, it also sheds water beautifully. The best umbrella in the world :)

I have had my umbrella for a few weeks now and I have loved using it. I am a dog walker and it’s been incredibly helpful in managing temperatures while out walking in the heat of the day. I also recently (today) got stranded in the airport during the Outage and it came incredibly in handy for shielding me from the bright lights while I attempted to sleep on airport chairs! It’s so lightweight and the perfect size for a carryon, I’ll be hard pressed to leave it home when I travel again!
