The Haven Bundle is designed so that the NetTent hangs from the tarp rather than be supported directly by the poles. This configuration allows the tarp to be set up first or taken down last, keeping the inside of the tent dry in rainy conditions. If desired the Haven Combo can also be stored clipped together for even faster setup and takedown.
Utilizing trekking poles for support, or our optional collapsible poles, the Haven Bundle has near-vertical sidewalls, further maximizing internal space. Dual tabs on either side of the canopy allow the Haven Tarp to be hung from a line between two trees, eliminating the need for poles altogether.
The two-pole design allows for a 48" wide canopy offering tremendous amounts of headroom. The peak is also offset toward the head, raising the canopy further from one's face and moving the headroom to provide a more natural sitting area.
The Haven Bundle is equipped with two entrances and two vestibules providing convenience and storage space for both parties. The streamlined design provides maximum protection for minimum weight.

The tent shipped immediately, and I received it in time for a last minute trip. I’m thankful for the outstanding customer service. The setup was quick and straight forward in both configurations. I had mixed weather on the AT, and I found it convenient to leave the NetTent connected to the tarp. Set up took minutes. We found ourselves on the top of a mountain with stiff and gusty winds and heavy horizontal rain, and the tent remained taut and dry. Others did not. I didn’t have time to seam seal, but the tarp didn’t leak a drop. The quick release attachment points on both half’s of the zippered vestibule allowed for quick adjustments as the wind shifted and conditions changed during the night. I’m six feet tall and the inside seemed huge especially when using the pull panels. The offset peak made sitting up comfortable. 100% of the interior floor area was usable, and the vertical sides of the NetTent gave my enough room to set up for cooking outside while still protected by the vestibule. I’m impressed.
I used this tent while hiking in Patagonia and on the Lycian Way (western Turkey). We lived out of this thing for weeks at a time. The tent pitches very easily and quickly. We are used to heavier 3-season tents and we found no reduced level of comfort with this ultra light. This tent was 100% perfect on dry nights and during light rain storms. However this tent had a little trouble holding up to the intense wind gusts (70+ mph) we experienced while hiking the back country in Torres del Paine, Chile. We found that there was ample breeze when both sides were held open. My wife hates buggies and the netting kept us bite free. ALSO, we kept the net tent connected to the tarp at all times for faster setup. You can see the tent being set up here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CirA-6rlYZk
You must know the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island. It was built in 1907 to facilitate the rescue and evacuation of shipwrecked along this coastline of the Pacific Cemetery. It is now part of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve and is often considered one of the best hiking trails in the world. We decided to go as light as possible. Six Moon Design has been one of the best companions for this. The Haven Tarp and his Net have managed to provide a really comfortable shelter for two people during this WCT. This tarp-tent and really very compact and once installed you regale a palace. I have no contraindications to make on this product ... only come here to tell you that you can trust this company as in this equipment. Good light hike.
A real head shaker.
Hi Greg, Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The shelter dimensions are shown under the product images in our layout diagram for each shelter. These include the outer tarp dimensions as well as the inner net tent dimensions. We are working on ways to have this information more readily accessible and can add it to our specifications. Thanks!
