DIAMON "DIRTYBIRD" CLARK

Hey, I’m Diamon (she/her) aka DirtyBird! I’m an adventure traveler, environmental scientist and educator. My love for adventure and travel was born from my passion for science and it has taken me around the world! I’ve lived in a tropical rainforest, dogsled through Canada, rescued and released sea turtles, learned animal husbandry, backpacked through the Wilderness of Idaho, and lived in a van while road tripping across the American southwest. I’ve worked as an independent researcher, environmental educator, freelance writer, and program facilitator. 

Most importantly, I’m an advocate for diversity in outdoor recreation and science media. “Diamon Does'' is my personal brand of storytelling where adventure meets science. My goal is to create content that inspires more Black and Brown people to explore nature and to shed light on the most pressing issues affecting the health of our planet.
