Aly Pagano

From the temperate rainforests of southern Appalachia, Aly calls home the mountains of western North Carolina. With a degree in Environmental Ecology and a passion for nonprofit work, Aly finds her solace in the communities (both ecological and social) around her. Merging her deep love of forests and movement, you can find her hiking, camping, trail running, playing disc golf, and fishing in the 'land of the waterfalls' while advocating for representation and equality in the outdoors. Aly has completed multiple mountainous trail ultra races as well as thruhikes including the Foothills Trail, Art Loeb Trail, Camino de Santiago (LASH), and Appalachian Trail (2023). When not in the woods, you can find Aly cooking and baking, playing Stardew Valley, reading, or getting overly consumed by a jigsaw puzzle. Heading into 2026, Aly is excited to be joining the Six Moon Designs adventure team on the precipice of her upcoming Pacific Crest Trail thruhike. Happy trails and buen camino!
