Daybreaker Limited Edition

20.7 oz - 580g Pack

For our launch of the Daybreaker, we collaborated with local Portland brewery Base Camp Brewing Company. They made us an exclusive Daybreaker Pilsner that is still on tap if you're visiting town. If you were not able to make it to the release party, but would still like a taste of the event, we are now offering a very limited supply of the co-branded packs. For every pack purchased, you will receive a FREE branded double-wall insulated, 16 oz tumbler. These great tumblers are made by Oregon's very own DrinkTanks and are available in Blue or Red. The tumbler availability is limited so please list your color preference in your order notes and we will attempt to accommodate your color request. As supplies are limited, your tumbler color choice is not guaranteed.

When we set out to design the Daybreaker we wanted a pack that could be used for a day hike but was also versatile enough to be used for traveling, days around town, peak bagging in the mountains, or hut to hut trips.

  • The Daybreaker is Six Moon Designs take on a clean, simple day pack. We set out to create a pack that was traditional in design but also features more modern, lightweight materials.

The Daybreaker is the result of years of traveling, backpacking, and outdoor adventures. We took the time to think of what we liked and did not like out of the day packs we had been using. The side pockets are a great example of this. They are deep enough to keep your water bottle from falling out when putting your pack in an overhead bin and angled just the right way so you can still reach your bottle while hiking. Hate losing your keys? We do too. That's why we put glove hooks in both zippered pockets. Everything is wet and you need to rest? Just pull out the removable sit-pad and kickback. We just really enjoy this pack and think you will too.

    I love my Daybreaker ....

I’ve gotten hooked on Six Moons Designs’ high quality gear, and my recent purchase of the Daybreaker is no exception, though I do have a some issues I’ll address below. This pack is so roomy, I immediately planned a short overnight trip in my backyard mountains. It was tight, but the carry was nice, and it was pretty comfortable. My issues: I’m a petite person, 5’1”, and straps are still loose when I adjust it down, and) I can’t use the chest strap because boobs. I had to reattach it multiple times, and finally removed it. I think I’ll try to come up with a rather more robust rig to adjust the chest tensioning. But, otherwise? I absolutely love this daypack, which is also ample for errands, laundry (I live in the woods), as well as groceries. It worked on an overnight with typical Vermont rock scrambles/ mild bouldering, and it’s a beautiful pack for daily use. Excellent overall.
