Is there a difference in sturdiness between the materials?
We find them to be equally sturdy.
Why would I choose the 5-section over the 3-section?
The 5-section folds down smaller, which tends to be better for Bikepacking or other activities where space is limited. The 3-section is lighter and less expensive.
