STEVE " TUBA SOLO THE HIKER” FERICEAN
“Enjoying the outdoors in Southern California and beyond” is a statement that best describes Steve. His love for the outdoors was cultivated at a young age through the many trips his family took to national parks during summer and winter vacations. Yellowstone, Yosemite, Zion, Sequoia and the Grand Canyon were some of the places that Steve was exposed to year-after-year. That love for the outdoors has continued to this day and Steve has been blessed with the ability to access some of the best hiking and backpacking the United States has to offer.
Steve has completed Mt. Whitney summit, Half Dome, San Bernardino Divide Trail, Trans Catalina Trail and has stood multiple times on the top of Southern California’s highest 10K+ and 11K+ peaks. He is like many people who love the outdoors. The responsibilities of life and family do not allow for any extended ventures at this time, but Steve makes sure to take every opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. Steve can usually be found in the San Gorgonio Wilderness playing the role of “Weekend Warrior” and “Gear Junkie”. Since 2015, Steve has been cataloguing his adventures and providing valuable gear information to the hiking and backpacking community via his YouTube channel.
For Steve it is looking like 2020 is going to be another great year of hiking, backpacking and enjoying the outdoors in Southern California and beyond.
