Diabetes Is A Disease That Concerns Us All

My project of cycling around Europe for the benefit of diabetes was also affected by the coronavirus. In a context where the Covid-19 epidemic led to the closure of European borders, I had to make the decision to cancel this adventure.

The postponement to later was not possible because I commit myself to another horizon, professionally, by enlisting in the army to become a dog handler .

I was preparing this project since September 2019, for a departure in April 2020 . During my 4500 kilometers journey through 6 European countries, my intention was to:

● raise awareness of people with diabetes

● raise funds for the association Aides aux Jeunes Diabétiques (AJD)

This last goal is close to my heart and I decided to give back to the AJD all the money of the generous donors who have supported me from the beginning.
