    Very handy

Love the top zippers. I can access what I need without dumping the whole pack.

    Great organization tools for backpacking!

I ordered the variety pack, which consists of 3 sizes and couldn't be happier.
I used the large pod for clothes (base layers, gloves, beanie) , the medium pod for my "ditty bag" (toiletries and hygiene products, poop trowel), and the small pod for my Flextail air pump and a small tent lantern.
The little tabs on the ends of the zippers are ingenious and make it easy to zip up the pod.
The material is lightweight and feels durable.
I showed them to my girlfriend and she liked them so much, we bought a 2nd set for her!

    Just What I Needed!

I sleep in a hammock, so I carry two down quilts when I hike. I tried the "stuff everything in a trash compactor bag" method of packing, and it didn't work for me. I have nerve damage in one hand & arthritis in both thumbs, and it can be painful to try to stuff things that way to make room in my pack. I figured I'd try these, and they're just the ticket. A compression sack may make things smaller, but these pods are lighter weight and they fit inside my pack perfectly. (I have a CTUG 40L pack.)

I bought two sets, but in reality I probably only needed two big pods. I use a Zenbivy sleep system, so when I'm sleeping on the ground I use a medium pod to store the bottom sheet of the Zenbivy. (I could probably get it into the large pod with the top quilt, but I haven't felt the need to.) They also make good pillows if you have soft things to stuff in them.

My only complaint is that the dye used the imprint Six Moon Designs' logo smelled weird. I don't have much of a sense a smell -- it's almost always a blessing and rarely a curse -- so the fact that I could smell it at all tells me it's a pretty strong scent. If you find it off-putting, I recommend letting the pods sit out in the air for a bit to let the dye's scent dissipate.

    Disappointing colors

The pods are very nice and make it easy to keep gear organized. I like the smallest one for my toiletries and the largest one for my clothes. I’m using the intermediate one for my rain gear. The only disappointment was the colors. The picture showed green, blue and orange but unfortunately, my largest one came in black. Obviously, this does not affect functionality, but it’s just a dull color and not what I expected. Especially when tent bound in bad weather, cheerful colors do make a difference. I also agree with the other reviewers that it would be nice to pick and choose the sizes.

    Perfect for backpacking!

I took these on a 2-night backpacking trip. Very lightweight! The varying sizes were perfect for pulling together all the little things that needed packing. Also the wide opening made it super easy to access the contents and see everything at once.

Small - I used for my meds and bed time creature comforts. Medium - I used for headlamp, batteries, and various other small tools / accessories. Large - I used on the trail for dirty clothes, keeping the smells contained from my sleep system and kitchen gear.
