Six Moon Designs wants to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the National Trails System Act by introducing a Merino Wool Shirt.
On October 2, 1968 President Lyndon Johnson signed into Law the National Trails System Act which designated the Appalachian Trail and Pacific Crest Trail as National Scenic Trails.*All closeout items and items in the bargain bin are final sale and cannot be returned.
We are offering this Merino Shirt to celebrate the National Trails Act. These shirts offer a relaxed fit but sizes run a little small especially in the women's sizes. We recommend sizing up 1 size from your normal t-shirt size for a comfortable fit. If a fitted fit is your thing, then take your normal size.

I have used merino clothing exclusively during my 3.5 years of international backpacking travel. They work well while hiking in Patagonia (to keep you warm) they work well in the heat of Indonesia (they dry quickly and breathe well). I've used at least 6 different companies products and I would say that SMD's merino shirt is at the top of the list when it comes to quality and comfort. The shirt is light weight and well made. Love it!
Fine merino wool shirts. Size large fits great: 6'3", 185# man
Heed to advice to size up as these shirts are definitely small. I bought two - an XL to wear now & a L in hopes I lose my Covid kilo - and they're well worth the price. Comfortable even in warm weather and oh-so-cozy! Because these are wool, they appear to keep my multi-day hike stinkiness in check. I'm tempted to purchase a couple more while they're available at this discount.
One size up fits perfect. Dries in no time at all & what smell after 3 days
Soft feel, has held up after 6 or 7 washings. The shirts do run a full size small. A bit thin so best for a light base layer or a summer shirt.
