Footprint Large - Polycro

Sale price$15.00
1.8 oz - 53 g

Six Moon Design's Polycro footprint is made from ultra strong and ultra light Polycro membrane. Designed for shrink wrap and frequently used as a second thermal layer for windows, this material is exceedingly rugged. While not as durable as Tyvek, it'll provide significant protection and weighs virtually nothing.

Be careful though, this material is so light, it'll blow away in a light breeze. So be sure to weight it down after you spread it out.

This Footprint comes two per pack. So you've got twice the protection.

Dimensions: 96" X 48" - 244cm x 122cm
Thickness: .75 mil - 0.19mm

so light it will blow away

nice and light, but because of that it's hard to lay out. The slightest wind will blow it away. It's not tearproof either. But if used carefully, it's the best option for a ground cloth.

Worked well enough

Worked well for what it was. A super thin lightweight ground sheet for my Haven tent. Used it 4 nights in a row on all Types of terrain and it didn’t puncture.

Just buy it

Poly cro is amazing. I've been using it for the past two summers while hiking the continental divide trail through Colorado. I have spent at least 30 nights in my six moons design tent with Poly cro underneath it. This reduced the weight of my total tent package by 4 ounces versus using Tyvek. If you want to go light this is the way to go. As noted, it is a lot like using really tough saran wrap but it is really tough.
