The Refuge provides an unparalleled amount of space for minimal weight. We've designed The Refuge to be large enough to accommodate two, while light enough to be a palace for one. There is plenty of interior room for two adults to sit up without brushing against the walls. Need more space? Simply guy out the canopy. You've got ample room to invite over a couple of hikers for a game of cards.
To achieve its phenomenal 27 ounce weight for a two person tent, we've stripped out everything not absolutely needed, while maintaining plenty of protection and room for a pleasant night's rest.

| Mark: This is a follow up to my initial review. I stayed in the refuge during Memorial. Temps were 40F at night and 65F during the day with near saturation of humidity at night. The tent worked great! I felt like I was sleeping under the stars. Just as the water would start to bead on the tent, the sun would rise and the tent would dry immediately. It's the best, I wish I could buy every tent six moons sells. |

| Mark: What great service! I just ordered the tent, and it arrived in just a few days! I would have bought the Refuge on performance numbers alone, and when I assembled it (in my living room) I was amazed at the level of thoughtfulness and quality that was engineered into the tent. Six moons is most definately my first choice from now on! Now I need to tell my wife that I want to buy his entire lineup! |

Notes
The Refuge is designed to maximize the shelter for an ultralight hiker. However, without a bathtub floor and incorporating an ultralight floor, more care must be taken in sight selection to properly utilize the capabilities of this tent. The .7 ounce No-See-Um netting save 30% of the weight of traditional netting, but is more susceptible to damage if improperly used.
With proper care and maintenance you should receive years of service with your Refuge tent.
